This One's For the Dogs

Recently I found some pretty, Scottie, themed patterned paper at Archiver's.  I decided it was time to create another dog gift bag with coordinating card.  The paper is American Crafts (Dear Lizzy) from the Polka Dot Party collection.  I love this entire collection; I'm definitely looking forward to creating more projects from this collection.

First up is a kraft gift bag that I altered.  Bag measures 5 7/8" x 11" x 3 1/2".  Second up is the coordinating card which measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

As always, thanks for stopping by.

Rustic Thank You Card

We are now in the season to give thanks.  Not that we shouldn't be grateful year round.  I created this thank you card with fall in mind.  I had purchased this floral stamp a little while back.  I am just now using it for the first time.  Sometimes, I think I am more of a collector than a crafter (LOL).  The stamped image is gorgeous!  I will be using this stamp plenty on future creations.  This wild geranium was created in collaboration between Unity Stamp Co. and Donna Downey.

The plaid paper is Graphic 45 and cardstock is Bazzill; twine is Canvas Corp; brad is Fancy Pants; and wood flag is JilliBean Soup.  I inked the wood flag to age it a bit.  I used a Stampin' Up window framelit to create the window on this card.  Card measures 5" x 5".

Thanks for visiting my blog; have a wonderdul day.

Autumn Gift Tags

These three tags were created with autumn in mind.  I've always wanted to alter a glassine bag; it is such a nice surface to stamp on.  All three tags fit perfectly in the glassine bag.

The first tag was made from Stampin' Up window framelits.  The butterflies and leaves stamp is from the August 2013 Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Co.  The image was stamped in brown

ink and then embossed with a clear, thick, embossing powder.

The second tag is a manila tag that I altered.  I stamped it with a woodgrain background stamp from Stampin' Up.  The woodgrain was stamped in brown ink and embossed with a clear, thick, embossing powder.  I then rubbed a different brown ink over the entire tag.  The leaves were die cut from chipboard and patterned paper.  These are Tim Holtz dies.  The metal memo pin is Tim Holtz.  The stamped sentiment is from the same August 2013 Kit of the Month from Unity.  The wood button is from Jillibean Soup.

The third tag was die cut from one of the tags in the chalk talk die set from Stampin' Up.  The pumpkin die cut is from Quikutz which was embossed with the lattice embossing folder from Stampin' Up.  A chipboard sentiment from Basic Grey and a wood heart from Studio Calico were attached to the pumpkin die cut.

Glassine bag is from Michael's.  Stamped sentiment and falling leaves are from the same Unity kit as above.  The garland was created with twine, sequins, and wood hearts.  Sequins and wood hearts are from Studio Calico.  Twine is Canvas Corp.

The patterned paper used is Crate Paper and Authentique.

Fabulous Fall Wreath

I purchased this floral tin wreath a year ago.  I recently figured out what I wanted to do with it.  I decided to alter it as a mini wreath.  I conveniently had three chipboard circles lying on my craft desk waiting to be used.  I covered two with cardstock and the one that will be seen with patterned paper.  I glued them together and then adhered them to the tin wreath.  I found the autumn sprigs at Pat Catan's.  They were adhered to the chipboard circle.  The chipboard sentiments are Basic Grey; foam adhesive was used on the sentiment.  I inked the wood flower and wood leaves with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads.  Another chipboard sentiment (cherish) was attached to the wood leaves.  I punched a hole in the top of the wreath to accommodate burlap ribbon.  And voila!  I loved how it turned out!
