Hello Friends,
Guess what...this is post 49 which means in my 50th post I will be having a giveaway, so make sure you stay tuned in. It is also snowing and quite chilly in Twinsburg, Ohio. Today I am sharing a wood tea box I discovered at our local Hobby Lobby a little while back. It just had an image on the lid and the sides were just plain wood. I repurposed this little gem into a prayer box; this is the first one I have ever made and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I decoupaged some older Crate Paper pattern paper to the sides and lid of the box. I also stamped 60 prayer cards to go inside with a floral image. The floral stamp is Unity, from the Blossom by Blossom March Unity Sentiment Kit 2013. It matches the pattern paper perfectly. I stamped the sentiment from the same kit on My Minds Eye pattern paper and cut out a circle shape and attached it to a die cut doily. This project was very easy; I am always looking for something to repurpose and/or alter. I forgot to mention; the word 'faith' was cut on my Cricut.
I am also entering this prayer box into the Friends with Flair challenge over on the Unity Stamp Co. blog. You should come play, have fun, and be inspired if you have not already! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Unity be Inspired Challenge
Hello Friends,
Thanks for stopping in! I have a card I want to share with you today that I'm submitting for the Unity be Inspired Challenge. I just received this fabulous Itty Bitty in the mail on Monday. It was one of the free stamps Unity offered last week with purchase. It is called Foxy & Fabulous. I followed the card sketch and color challenge. I wasn't sure about the bow; let me know what you think! I can't wait to hear from you!
This is my 48th post; remember to keep checking in. I am having a giveaway with my 50th post.
Keep crafting in peace & love,
Dawn
