Hello crafty friends! I hope everyone has had an amazing week! Sadly, my family experienced a family crisis earlier this week, but we are bouncing back! I even took time this evening to participate in Unity's Friends with Flair linky challenge. I did not do this lady the true justice she deserves. She is a beautiful image. This tag is a work in progress. I like the design of the tag and the colors I used, but I guess I did not use enough of the gel medium called Dazzle to resist the spray. Thus the area around her mouth suffered for lack of a better word. I tried to fix my mistake, but failed miserably. I will be recreating this tag, but I still wanted to share it today. Just my luck, I ran out of manila tags. I attended the Adventures in Stamping Convention this past Saturday and was introduced to a product line called Art Anthology. Technique Junkies had a booth at the convention and they offered a free make n take using Art Anthology products. The design of this tag was inspired by the tag created in their make n take. She is from the Unity set, beautiful soul. This is my first time inking her up. I stamped her in black Staz On ink on a manila tag. I then used an Art Anthology spray to color her face, neck, and shoulder. I colored her lips with an Art Anthology sorbet, a gel paint. I used one of my new Dylusions paints for her eyeshadow. This product is fabulous as well! Her hair was colored with two sorbets. Dazzle, a gel medium, by Art Anthology was applied to her skin. I then stamped a dream catcher image with sentiment, go confidently in the direction of your dreams. This is also a Unity stamp and I apologize for not knowing what it is called; I could not find its packaging. Yes, I keep all of the original packaging for all of my Unity stamps. Let me know what you think! These Art Anthology products are fabulous; definitely will be purchasing more.
