Can you believe it is already May? I can't! It seems like we just celebrated New Year's! I swear, as I get older time is really flying by. Well, by the time you read this post, my oldest son will be getting ready to walk that stage. He is graduating from Ohio University this morning! I am so proud of this kid. He has worked so very hard. His major is journalism. Ever since the ripe young age of 12, he knew he wanted to cover basketball. While a student at OU, he has covered football, track and field, and women's basketball. Thanks for allowing me to praise him. Now on to why you are really here...LOL Here is this month's cue:
Here is my take:
I decided to try a new to me technique, watercolor resist stamping. I was inspired by Crystal Thompson's April 30th blog post on the Unity website. I decided it's time to step up my stamping game. LOL. If you have not seen her post, make sure you check it out. Her card is beautiful and this technique is super easy. Perfect for these amazing pears! I also did some layered stamping. The first stamped image is Vintage Ledger. Then I stamped the circle image from Loving Today three times on top of the ledger. I then stamped a script background. This stamp is by Prima. I then used foam adhesive to adhere the pears and sentiment which are both from the April 2018 Kit of the Month, Eyes of the Beholder. I finished the card with a few flower sequins I received as a gift from Unity.
Well, thanks for taking time to hop with us. Be sure to comment on all of our blogs for a chance to win some Unity goodness.
