Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers January 2018

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season!  I'm preparing this post before I fly to California.  My sister-in-law has been ill and I'm going to help my brother and niece with her care.  Prayers are greatly appreciated at this time.  She is a phenomenal woman and I hope she recovers soon.  My niece is 16.  She is putting up a brave front, but I know she must be very concerned.  Please include my niece and brother in your prayers.  Thank you.

I combined two Unity sets in the creation of this card.  The theme for this month's blog hop is winter.  The sentiment is from woodland deer and the image is from wild Christmas.  Both sets are rather new to my Unity collection.  I colored the image with Prima water color pencils and the shimmer and shine was provided by Prima metallic accents.  I finished the card off with Prima mini art stones, a few Nuvo drops and ribbon.  This is my first time using the art stones and Nuvo.  I am quite impressed and can't wait to use these on future projects.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Here is the line up for the blog hop:
