Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers, April 2018, Showers

For this hop, I pulled out some oldies but goodies.  This was my very first time using both of these stamps.  Yikes!!  One stamp dates back to 2010; the other 2015.  I love this stamp with the couple embracing in the rain.  You can really feel the power of their love for one another.  Here is my card:







For this card I used two kits:  image is from the January 2015 Kit of the Month, magic of beginnings and the sentiment is from the December 2010 Kit of the Month, just be you.

      Thanks Mary! I don’t do a lot of paper piecing but I really like the look of it. I may do more in the future.

    Fantastic card!!! How clever to put the umbrella over the couple! I am assuming that's what you did, and I LOVE that!!

      Thanks Robyn! The umbrella is already over the couple in the stamp. I just cut out the paper pieced umbrella and pop dotted it.
