Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers, June 2018, Masculine

Hey there!  Are you ready for another great hop?  I hope so, cause we got some masculine cards for you.  Here is mine:

The truck is from Unity's March 2018 Kit of the Month, stay classy, and the sentiment is from Let Adventure designed by Jolande van Oosterhout and Marleen van Meerendonk.  I used several layers of pattern paper from different companies.  The negative die cut is Basic Grey.  I really miss this company.  The sky was colored with Prima water soluble oil pastels.  Grass was colored with a Prima watercolor pencil.  The truck was colored with Prima red rust effect paste.  I added a little water to the paste to make it more of a water color than a paste.  If you use this paste at full strength, you get a nice rusty, grainy texture.  It's really cool.  I colored the tires with Prima water soluble Graphite sticks.  These are really fun to use too.

Oh I almost forgot!  There are two giveaways this month, so make sure you visit everyone and leave some love.  Good luck!

Well, I hope you enjoyed our little hop.  Next up is the lovely, Jeanie!  Make sure to leave her some love.

  4. I love this one so much. Reminds me of my dad. He had a wrecker service when we were babies and I always loved tagging along to see some of the old trucks he worked on at the shop.

  9. Sigh - this card makes me wee bit misty-eyed... it is so close to the truck my Gido had when I was young. Great memories - and a great card, my friend!
