Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers, February 2020, Monochromatic

Welcome to this month's hop! Is it just me, or did the month of January fly by? I swear Christmas was yesterday. Well hello February! And hello to a new challenge. Oowee, this challenge was hard. I have never made a monochromatic card before. It was a challenge not adding more colors. I so wanted to add yellow to the mix.

Here is the inspiration:

And here is my card:

Two different kits were used in this creation. The image is from tangled leaf background and the sentiment is from the November 2019 Kit of the Month, wonder. Tangled leaf background is one of my favorite Unity stamps. I have used it before for sympathy cards. I used an Art Anthology paint on the tangled leaf background. It has a nice shimmer to it. You can kind of see the shimmer in the third photo. This card was completed with twine and an acrylic leaf embellishment.

There are two giveaways this month, so be sure to comment on all our blogs. We love to read all your encouraging words.

Here is the line up:

Thanks for stopping by! See you again next month!
