Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers, March 2018, New Beginnings

Well hello there friends!  So glad you are here.  In case you missed it, I have some very exciting news for someone who commented on my post from our blog hop back in February.  Drum roll please:  Good2BT, you are the winner!  Yay!  Woohoo!  Congrats to you!  Please contact me.

Now on to this month's hop.  Since I am the last one in the hop, you already know our theme for March is New Beginnings.  I'm not really a clean and simple type of lady, but this is pretty close for me.  LOL.  I felt this sentiment did not need too many distractions.  I wanted the emphasis to really be on the sentiment.  Check out my creation right here:

The sentiment is from the January 2016 Unity Sentiment Kit, worth it all.  I really love this kit.  Plenty of great sentiments.  In creating this card, I also used a Tim Holtz butterfly die cut, then I embossed it.  The backdrop of this card is a library card with pocket (Fancy Pants).  Frame is Heidi Swapp.

  3. As a librarian, I totally love the fact that you used a library card in your creation. In the digital age, seeing those are few and far between! The card is beautiful... the sentiment is perfectly paired with the butterfly.
