Can You Case It #139, Rainbow of Color Color Challenge

Hello Everyone!  So glad you are here!  This week we are still mixing it up a bit at CYCI with a Rainbow of Color Challenge created by fellow DTM Kayla!  Woohoo Kayla!  Check out this challenge right here:

Here is my card:

All of the stamps used in creating this card are from Unity Stamp Company.  I colored this beautiful feather with my new Metallic Accents (Prima) that arrived in the mail today.  My photography does not do these metallic accents justice.  LOL  They are gorgeous!  I pre-ordered them so I have been waiting on them for some time.  They were worth the wait.  Next, I am going to use them on a journal I plan on altering.  The gold triangle washi is Heidi Swapp and I grunged up the card with some metallic rub on inks.

Thanks for stopping by...until next time my lovelies,
Dawn

Can You Case It #138, A Shaker Card Challenge

Hello friends!  This week at Can You Case It, we are mixing it up a bit with a shaker card challenge.  I like shaker cards; I think they are pretty fun.  I enjoy shaking the ones I have made.  I know shaker cards have been around for some time, but I did not make my first one until April 2016.  Yup, at a stamping convention to be exact.  It was a make n take at the Jillibean Soup booth.  It was so easy with the die cut card and shaker (Jillibean Soup).

Check out the inspiration:

Here is my card:

 Supplies:
1.  Embossing folder (Sizzix)
2.  Card base and shaker (Jillibean Soup)
3.  Ink (Stampin' Up)
4.  Sentiment stamp (Stampin' Up)
5.  Chipboard candles (Junkitz)

Thanks for visiting!
Until next time my friends,
Dawn

I so enjoy making new baby cards.  It brings back the joy, happiness, and excitement I felt as an expectant mom; a very special time in my life.  A time I will always remember.

For this card I used pattern paper from Studio Calico, rubber stamps from Unity Stamp Co., buttons from Crate Paper, and a felt 3D cloud sticker from Basic Grey.

I hope to see your fabulous creations this week.

Until next time,
Dawn

Can You Case It #136, A Sketch Challenge

Welcome back friends!  This week at Can You Case It we are having a sketch challenge.  Here is the inspiration:

Here is my card:

I have so many butterfly stamps.  I love butterflies; I admire their beauty.  This butterfly is the newest to my collection of butterfly stamps and I think it is my favorite.  I colored this beauty with my Prima oil pastels.  The water colored background was created with Prima water color pencils.  The butterfly stamp is from a set called let adventure (Unity Stamp Co.).  The sentiment is from never regret (Rubbernecker Stamps).  Pattern paper is Basic Grey.

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you come back next week.
