Growing in Unity...Day #3

Welcome to my Day #3 of Growing In Unity!  I am so enjoying this week!  I hope you are too!  Today, I have a tag to share.  This is a #8 size manila tag.  I used an ink blending tool and applied Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink (Tim Holtz) all over the tag.  I then applied Peacock Feathers Distress Ink (Tim Holtz) on the edges of the tag.  I then applied Worn Lipstick Distress Ink (Tim Holtz) to the center of the tag.  I then blended all three colors.

I stamped Brooke Girl (an angie girl) in black ink onto white cardstock.  I colored her with various Tim Holtz and Stampin' Up markers.  I applied Wink of Stella to her hair.  I then fussy cut her.  I have to say that I am not the best cutter.  I stamped the frame in Peacock Feathers.  The frame is from the Unity Stamp November 2013 Kit of the Month called Strength and Dignity.  I colored the frame in with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  The 'you are so much fun' sentiment is also from Brooke Girl.  I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo

(Stampin' Up).  The words 'life, is, good, with, you, and around' are not stamped images.  I cut these words from a sheet of patterned paper; Unforgettable Story Journal Paper from My Mind's Eye.  I wished I had used foam adhesive on the words 'good' and 'you' for additional dimension.  I adhered a few enamel dots (My Mind's Eye) to the frame.  Foam adhesive was used on the frame and adhered to the tag.  Foam adhesive was also used on Brooke Girl.  I then arranged the words on the tag and voila!  Oh, twine is Pink Paislee.

I hope you enjoyed this creation as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you.  Remember to leave comments on my blog for your chance to win 2 Itty Bittys from Unity Stamp Company!!

Until tomorrow, peace and love in crafting,

Dawn
