Friends of Unity Blog Hoppers, February 2019, Friendship

Welcome friends! So glad you can join us for our monthly hop. Here is this month's cue:

Image may contain: sky, text and outdoor

For this cue, I knew immediately which stamp image I was going to use. I can't believe I have had this image since 2009 and am just now inking it up. I really have to stop collecting stamps. LOL.
Here is my card:

Even though I knew right away the stamp I was going to use for this card, I had the hardest time coming up with a design. I thought the image would look nice framed, so I went through some chipboard frames and decided on this scalloped one. I also thought this image needed some funky papers so I went through my massive collection of pattern paper and decided on these.

The image stamp is from an oldie but goodie Kit of the Month, November 2009, simply magical.  The sentiment is from a much newer kit called sweetness. I think I also struggled with this card because lately I have really been missing my best friend, my roomie, who passed away a little over a year ago.  I truly miss you girl.

There are some giveaways this month. In fact, I am having one. Here is a picture of what I have up for grabs.
This is the December 2014 Sentiment Kit.  All you have to do to be eligible for one of three prizes is leave a comment on each and every one of my lovely friends in this hop.  Here is the hop list:

Love your coloring, those funky papers, and that pink scallop goes perfectly. Love it. So sorry for your loss. It is hard to get motivated and stay forward when we're missing somebody. Hang in there...you still have all of us!
